MoreOne of the biggest challenges for Hungarian education in Romania, and especially in Transylvania, is to ensure equal opportunities for further education.
This is no different in Hungary. In both countries, for students with fewer opportunities, the final exam, also known as the “entrance examination”, which largely determines their future career path, is a major constraint (among other factors) for students with fewer opportunities at the end of primary school. It is also common for children from better-off families to prepare for the exam in separate classes, which in turn disadvantages and in many cases segregates students with fewer opportunities at the end of primary school.
This project aims to provide a means to ensure equal opportunities for pupils with fewer opportunities to prepare for the most challenging subject in mathematics.
The primary task of the Mezőségi Őrzőkör is to support the educational institutions of the Transylvanian Hungarians living in the Sporvány. It is of utmost importance to the MÖKA that the children studying in the institutions it supports receive not only a high quality education in their mother tongue, but also a high quality education that increases their chances of further education.
The RegioNet Foundation works on the development of digital support for education in Transylvania, especially in Szeklerland, and on supporting the work of teachers.
The InterRegio Forum Association is committed to the development and dissemination of innovative digital solutions to support education, especially in the Carpathian Basin countries. Its own LMS/CAT solution, developed in the last years and refined in different projects, is suitable for the creation/management of interactive learning materials along adaptive learning paths.
